Bill Rota has been a trial lawyer for 28 years. After moving to the Berkshires in 1983, he served as an assistant district attorney for three years. He joined the law firm of Cain, Hibbard, Myers & Cook in 1986, first as an associate, and later as a partner. He established his own law office in 2000.
His practice concentrates on all types of criminal defense, divorce and family law issues, and personal injury cases. He is also admitted to practice in New York, but limits that work to criminal defense in the adjoining counties of Columbia, Albany, and Rensselaer.
